Feminine sensuality through basic yet classic design.

Dorian aims to portray the feminine sensuality through his basic yet classic design, accentuated by various forms of hand beading, crystals and motif sequences, together with luxurious materials blended with sophisticated colors. Its stylish and modern silhouette brings out the feminine sensuous allurement in flaunting the curves of the feminine figure. Dorian sees fashion as a projection and expression of art. A beautiful piece of work speaks a language of its own: it brings out the inner style and charm of each individual.

Upon returning to Hong Kong in 1993, the Boston University graduate Dorian Ho began his career in his family business of garment industry. In 2001, he started his own designer label for evening wear, Dorian Ho Collection which made its international debut at Mercedes Australian Fashion Week in Sydney and at New York’s Seventh on Sixth. The line is sold at major stores all over the world including Harvey Nichols Hong Kong and Saudi Arabia, Barney’s New York Japan and Saks Fifth Avenue US. In the same time, he started his own couture services for celebrities and socialites.

 

Dorian Ho launched his bridal collection, Dorian Ho Bridal as well as opening his first flagship bridal salon in 2005 in Hong Kong, showcasing his feminine, sophisticated and elegant designs and exquisite details.

In 2006, he was awarded as The Outstanding Designer at Moet & Chandon’s Tribute to Asian Fashion Designers and subsequently in 2007, he received the Recognition Award by the Royal Princess of Thailand at the Bangkok Fashion Week.

With Dorian’s signature femininity styles and exquisite detailed works of his couture and bridal dresses, he launched his children wear collection, BabyDoll by Dorian Ho in 2011. Followed by a young and romantic eveningwear line, Doll by Dorian Ho and a menswear line, Dorian Ho Homme in 2012. Dorian’s various lines have been presented at prestige showrooms in Sydney, Paris and New York.

Dorian Ho is one of the most renowned fashion designers in Asia. He launched his first evening gown collection “Dorian Ho Collection” in 2001. In the same year, his collection was showcased in the fashion weeks of Sydney and New York. Dorian Ho Collection is now selling worldwide. In 2005, he launched his custom-made bridal collection, Dorian Ho Bridal, which made him one of the most popular wedding gown designers. In 2011, he introduced a children’s party clothes collection - ‘BabyDoll By Dorian Ho”, and in the following year, he has launched “Dorian Ho Homme” for men. Taking one step at a time, Dorian Ho is gradually expanding the map of his fashion kingdom. In recent years, Dorian has been designing specialty uniforms for various industries including airlines, banks, hotels, restaurants, property developer and cosmetic companies to name a few. Dorian Ho Collection is currently presented at prestige showrooms in Paris and New York.

 

Driven by innovation, Dorian launches collaborations with renowned brands in recent years, including watches, jewellery, home appliances and handbags. By bringing his unique aesthetic and personal style to different industries, Dorian showcases his versatile creativity on various crossover partnerships.

 

Stepping into his 30th anniversary in fashion industry, Dorian is committed to contributing more to the community by participating in different activities and founded the Asian New Generation Creativity Design Association. He would like to share more of his experience, "educate" new generation and "support" the development of local fashion industry. Dorian is looking forward to leading and supporting the new local designers to enter the international market.
